    hi,
would a halide 14,000k or higher without actinics give same color and fluorescing of corals as a 10,000k halide with actinics?
the reason is the new sunpod with 14,000k halides and white and blue lunars sure looks nice but has no actinic supplement.

No. I have one tank with 10K and VHO Actinics. The tank next to it has 14K. there is no fluorescing in the 14K tank.

Depends on the 14K lamp. There are a lot of people using the Phoenix 14K who don't run actinics. I ran EVC 14K lamps and there was no need for actinics
