    Hey all,
So I'm currently in the middle of a complete overhaul of my red sea cube. (pics to come soon) I wanna build a fuge underneath in the stand but really have no idea where to start. I want to build the entire thing out of acrylic, which I have access to, but really need a decent diagram to follow. Also don't know what kind of light I will need, or what size return pump.

Also I'm gonna get a new skimmer, I've read up on overdoing it with a skimmer, but would this one be a good choice, if not suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

One more question, I've taken the top off and currently have an AI Sol hanging from the ceiling. I'm making a new top that leaves it with open water, does anyone know how high the AI Sol should be mounted above the water permanently? Right now its about a foot off the water but I'm not really sure where it should be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    thanks again.

    WOW big overhaul.
Everything will depend on how big you want to go. you will need an overflow or to drill the tank to create the overflow. That will determine the return pump you need. you will have to have a compartment in your sump/fuge for the skimmer so sizing the skimmer to height and width is important. Don't want to get a skimmer that wont fit.
As for the AI LED 1 foot is fine you will likely find you don't have to run it at 100%
