Bubbles???

    Hi again,
    I just got my tank filled up with water got it to siphon and it's running with no protein skimmer yet and no refugium either. I am can of just doing a test run but it seem to be alot of bubbles is it normal or what could i do to reduce them.

    By the way I think this forum is awesome it help people like me, and everybody as been nice and thanks for that.

    Your pump could be picking up bubble from the return section. Try and put more water in the return section. Also if you just filled up and started there always seems to be a lot of bubbles from fill up.

    I would just let it run for a little while and let everything get balanced out and settled. Even after I do a water change my water is bubbly/messy. The only consistent problem I have had with bubbles was due to my skimmer. So I would guess that your water will be clear within a couple of days.

    Someone else may give you a more solid answer though!
