dude at least a year old tank before a nem, remember that. your best bet is to take him back to the lfs you got him from and wait till your tank is mature enough so you can get another. it wont last long in a tank like that.

another thing is anemones take a long time to die. they may look healthy but they can live several months in a tank with crap water. if his tentacles are still sticky then he has a chance. also if the stuff coming out of his mouth when he closes is not stringy then hes still alive. best bet still is to take him back and wait at least 6-7 months

Be careful with that live rock, it took my tank 6 months to show the effects of die-off b/c i did the same thing you did, and i lost some fish because of it, and your nitrates may spike, if they do, clean your rock, and do a 50% water change

Hey thanks for your concern, actually I do have a siphon break on my return, I drilled a 1/8 inch hole on both return outlets about 1/16 below the water line. So when I kill my return pump those holes break the siphon. Thanks for your concern btw.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

Karma + for making the hard choice, but you will be happier in the long run when the tank is ready for an anemone. Worrying about an anemone in a newly set up system is just not worth is for the owner or the anemone.
