Drat. I was filling my ATO reservoir this morning and noticed that my Bubble Magus doser was still on 'Setup Program.' Last week I did water tests and decided to kick up my dosing my 2 mL across all pumps. I programmed them all but forgot to hit 'esc' afterward to load the new settings.

Question, have you done this? If so or not, do you know if it keeps dosing the old program setting while in 'setup' mode or does it hang and suspend all dosing. It looks as though it may have. :p

When I went into 'setup' again - it did show my new settings. This time I hit 'esc' to load and get back to the clock face.

I have the 3 pump bm dose and have done this myself. Unfortunately I did not pay attention to see if it was still dosing or not, but it should b quite easy to test. I'm running a full water test tomorrow and will check this out as I'm sure ill have to do some adjustments to my dosing regime.
    I'll let u know what I find.

Thanks guys. Let me know Magnus.

I'll try to squeak in new tests myself tonight.

It does NOT dose if held in "setup program". It does keep everything in the background though, as you discovered.

I'll intentionally flip mine to this mode to keep it from dosing, if I'm doing a water change or monkeying around in the sump during it's schedule. It something on my mental list of things to check after I'm done; luckily I'm yet to forget it however.

    Good luck Matt!

    Ack. Thanks for info. k+
I didn't think it did as the levels in the bottles looked the same.
Dang it. My numbers were right under the mark I was going for too. :p
I'll do tests tonights and figure out what I need to manually add to bring it up to the mark and let the pumps hold it from there.

I'll be sure to hit 'esc' from here on out. This is how I learn. :)

Confirmed! It will not dose if esc button isn't pressed. Just tested this myself.
As a side note my coals were really using up a lot of Ca and Mg. I had to increase them by 4 mls.

    Thanks for testing Magnus. k+

I tested the big 3 tonight since my doser has been off for a week on setup. Mag was not too bad but alk dropped .35 about and calcium 60ppm. Yikes. Using the additive calculator here I manually added 10ml of alk part 1 and I am letting the doser catch the rest over night. I set up my Kent IV doser to drip calcium part 2 for a day or so to catch up as a lot of that is required to make up the 60ppm.

Hopefully that will do it and I will triple check doser on next adjustment. ;)

    Thanks all.

Great! It's good when u catch things in the "its never too late" stage and they can be easily fixed!
