Brown stuff floating around?

Well after my tank got blizzard nuked.

*left vegas, came home 2wks later, heater was unplugged, water was at 35F*


Causing whole distruction in my tank, *thank goodness i only had 4 corals* Everything dying or dead, besides the cleaner shrimp, Nas snail, 3 turbo snails which seems to be active.

Anyway my question is, when i got home after the 2wk vacation, tank was covered in mostly green algae, and sand had some cyano in it. Anyway my question is, theres brown stuff floatin in the water, when i put my hand in the water to do something, and when i get my hand out, those brown stuff stays in my hand untill i wash it off. What could it be?

Im guessing its an algae....but floating algae..?

what should I do, how can i get rid of it

 

nice CuC would eat it.

 

water change every 5 days. run carbon. and get a clean up crew. clean any skimmers pumps powerheads etc...

dont use any tap water either. which im sure you know

 

yeah, i still need skimmer. All my hermit crabs died T.T
except theres still 2 survivors lol, one of them went through water cycling xD
