Everything is stable and normal, only thing to report is that I decided on a whim to frag my Duncan coral which was getting rather large for its space, of course in the 40 breeder it will have a large place of its own but for now I must keep it under control. With my Dremel I got one 2 headed frag and one 4 headed frag which I'll be looking to sell or trade after giving me a couple days to heal. 30 minutes later all heads are starting to open back up, even the one that got split in half!

Great job Brenton! What color are those duncans, they almost look like purple.

They have a neon green face and stalk and purple tentacles, the pictures last night were mainly from the very yellow light in the room and so the colors are off. here are two from 5 minutes ago, the second one shows the colors very well. Everybody is extended and looks happy, I'm very happy because I was super nervous fragging this guy for the first time.

Sooo pretty! I wish I lived near you so I could buy one of your frags :) I've never fragged anything of substance, I'd be nervous too fragging such a beautiful piece.

Believe me, I was going so slow, especially since the coral was a birthday present from my wife several months ago. Tours out it really wasn't that big a deal, I accidentally halved one of the heads and both halves are fully open so overall a very hardy coral and with the right tools simple to frag.

Bad news...while on vacation in Costa Rica my tank lost power for 5 days, by the time I got home the tank was brown soup, nothing made it. While unfortunate it might just give me the kick I need to really get started on my 40b build. I will be starting a new build thread for that shortly. Thank you everybody for your support, comments and questions throughout the build.

:bawling: I'm so sorry to hear that. The tank was looking so nice! I know exactly how you feel. I went on a mini vacation to the beach and when I came back everything in my 29 gallon was dead. Turned out my Sea Urchin died and shot all of my levels up. Well I'll be following your 40b thread when you start and I'm sure it will look great.
