Brain coral feeding?

    hello, i have had my brain coral for about a week and i haven't feed it because it hasn't opened. so i dont know what to do and now its detaching it self from the rock.


    how do i feed it? and is it to late?

    Any idea what kind of brain coral it is? (There are lots of different kinds). If you aren't sure, a picture would help.

    If it is not opening, it could be a lot of things - could be it isn't happy where it is in the tank in terms of lighting or flow. It could still be acclimating to your tank, too. Or it may not have been in good condition when you bought it. Try to post a pic, and someone here will be able to advise you the best place to put it so it has the best chance to thrive.

    Ok, green open brain. Is it on the sandbed? Most of them like it best there. Should be under moderate light, low-moderate (not heavy) flow. Is this the case? Also, is it close to any other coral that might be stinging it at night?

    it is in the sand bed but it might have to much current.

    If the coral has detached itself from its skeleton, it's done for. Sorry.
