    Has anyone had one of these guys in a reef tank i've read about them going after the CUC wich my wrasse already does so i was more curious about my corals the LFS has a few and one really caught my eye came home and started doing research i don't wanna impulse buy but man he was gorgoeus

    It will nip at stony most likely and other corals I'm sure. A puffer in a reef usually don't mix

    I know advice would be not to keep a puffer in a reef - it's really a bummer because they are such cool fish.

    We have one in my wife's tank, very beautiful fish. Ours is very shy. I liked our green spot much better, a lot of personality. Out of all the fish I've had, that one decided to carpet surf......

    My green did too it was a sad loss as he was 5yrs old and still a youngin'.

    Fish only man. Nothing goes in the reef unless it's a coral. The reef is fully stocked for fish and I would NEVER risk any coral to have a puffer. That's why we have multiple tanks;)

    Mine was in the reef and was a model citizen, peaceful with all, even the CUC.
