    Niger Trigger Snapped........

    Well i got rid of my One spot Foxface and Gray Tang Lastweek I woke up saturday morning to my trigger eating the second Cromis in 2 days so i had to tear apart my system to get the trigger out Now..One of my CROMIS is in the corner of my tank and hes been there since saturday you think he traumatized his buddys are gone or i dont know he hasnt eaten either since sat any input...?

    You must mean Niger trigger.......

    If I were you I would go and edit that asap.

    Triggers are known to usually not be reef safe.

    Yeah, between being chased by the trigger and you having to tear the tank down to get the trigger. Check to see if there is any damage to the chromis. Try adding liquid garlic to the food to get him to feed.

    Blue Jaw triggers are reef friendly.

    Usually they are reef safe, just like pink tail triggers and cross hatch triggers.

    All of those are more of a planktonic type eater, but any of them can eat snails and shrimp

    Now other triggers are masters of not being even remotely reef safe..

    My Pink tail trigger doesnt mess with anything other then he will pick up a snail every great once in awhile and spit it back out. Never actually seen him eat one thou.

    Thanks alot ill def try that there are no marks on him thats the first thing i looked for and hes a bigger than average cromis..Ty for the help
