    He was tiny when. Put him in, I bought loads of empty shells and popped them in with him, can you tell just looking at him ? He was $1.50, was I ripped off ?

    You got a good deal. Electrics are usually somewhere around $5-10, he is very large but, electrics can grow to about 2in while blue legs top out around 1in

    He was a tiny little thing when he went in, he is about 3inches long, and looks like he is ready for a new shell, which BTW is the coolest thing in the world to see.

    He seems to have 1 pincer ?

    My blue legs are constantly changing shells...it's slightly nasty looking :D I wouldn't be surprised if he killed his kin for their shells, my scarlets kill each other for shells. Most hermits have one over sized pincher

    Well he is a big mutha !
    All the others died in the tank crash, along with all my snails, so maybe his name should be lucky ? LoL

    The latter is what you have and they get much larger than the former.
