Blue legged hermit crab

I have a blue legged hermit crab that is the size of a cadburys cream egg.

Anyone got one bigger ?

 

I agree, regretfully, i want to see this. I had a stray grey and brown hermit get to the size of a larger 'shooter' marble that is my biggest.

 

I'd love to see a pic, as well. Not saying you're wrong, but I've never even heard of one that big. I have, however, seen miniature juvenile electric blues misidentified as blue-legs (hard to tell the difference until they start getting larger than normal).

 

Let me get home tonight, and I will do this, to be honest I thought he was dead when my tank crashed last month, but over the weekend I was investigating why a rock kept "falling" onto my sand when I came upon him, I have no idea where the shell came from, it looks like a decorative shell that my daughter once "popped" into the tank.

 

I have one the size of a ping pong ball

 

So he wont let me pick him up, and im not brave enough to make him !

He is 3 inches long and 1.5 inches across ..........................

 

that's cheating, your crab is the Pacific kind

 

Pacific ? I bought him in Edmonton, with 20 others (that I believe he ate) the current shell he is wearing was a ornament in the tank LoL

 

Yours is a Electric blue hermit not a blue Legged hermit. Blue legs are from the Atlantic and are half the size.
