No anemone. Do yourself a favor. Tank is much too young and too small for an anemone. It will die and wipe out what you have.

    Agreed.

6 gals is incredibly small for any fish. There are no clowns suitable for a tank that small. At best you could put a clown goby or something similar, but even that is pushing it.

Personally I would just put some coral in the 6 gal and nothing else.

    Hi Guys

if you left click on a persons user name in these threads, drag down option boxes come up and then click on "view public profile" and scroll down to the very bottom of that page, you can see what Karma they have and where it came from

you can then revisit the thread and read for yourselves why karma is negative, although you only get part of the picture as the Mods clean it up, ( thankfully) but not always before the person who was insulted or others on the thread see it and are offended by it

ok, so i was able to return those mean little devils to petco. they let me do that the one time. so i guess an postitive person could say that's good karma. haha.

and i picked up a strawberry dottyback. i think he will do fine for right now. he is very tiny.

over time, i will add some shrooms and zoos. and i think i might get an emerald crab too.

    any other advise?

Dottybacks like inverts (to eat). They have nice little canines and the ability to ram their prey pretty well. Even the small ones can do damage. My advise for anything under 10g is no fish. Maybe a small hermit crab or three. Corals are fine. No anemone.

i basically agree with pack but the only fish i would recommend is a clown goby. you may be able to have 2 or 3 clown gobies. but with any other fish you should probably only hold one fish in that tank. a maroon would even get too big for that tank.

i would not choose any fish that isnt in this category they will get to big
