I like the pistol/goby tank. I would research whether you could combine in some maxi minis with this....that would be best of both worlds - which of course means it's probably not possible......or could could get some of those really cool, bumpy awesome looking mushrooms (of course I don't know their name).....could any dwarfs also go in with the goby/pistol? just a thought.....

I voted mantis, you can keep O. wennerae under bright light IME as most are collected from shallow water, or so I've been told. This myth about mantis' shattering glass needs to be put to rest, mantis have the most complex eyes in the ocean if not the world, they won't accidently hit the glass. Plus only a big 8"+ peacock could shatter glass, from what I've seen, my 3" wennerae used to hit me every now and then, and it felt a bit stronger that getting flicked by a person (assuming they're a good flicker ;D). They're also extremely smart and, once familiar with the setting, inquisitive. I loved hand feeding mine, and he only attacked snails/hermits when i dropped them in front of his cave, he left all others alone.

Edit: I'm not sure if its just me, but that mantis looked kinda stressed, I bet it had either molted recently or is about to molt, because something isn't right about that vid
