    Hello,

I have had two Black & White Ocellaris Clownfish for the past two weeks. They spend 90% of the time playing on the top near a over hang filter.

Is that common? I have a 125 gallon tank.

    Thanks!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes it's common, mine did exactly the same thing.

They had numerous anemones to reside in, corals but they never took to anything.

Beautiful clownfish though. If they are a young pair, they will venture out more as they get older and braver though.

Same thing here. Mine stayed around the overflow & even hid behind it at night. I would say it took about 1- 1/2 months before they came out. Now they nest in the yellow polyps at night.
