    As a matter of fact, I'm quite proud! I went to the goodwill store here and got a brand new dress with tags still on for $6.15! And it looks great!!!!!

    last week i bought a 50 inch plasma panasonic 1080p for 14 hundred dollars it came with a free blue ray player.
    panasonics come with a life of a 100,000 hours
    it was more then i was planning on spending but im glad i didn't compromise
    my ideals
    1.plasma
    2.1080p
    3. atleast 50"
    the blue ray was just a unexpected bonus

    Ive had a blu-ray player longer than most people in the US, I got a PS3 pretty soon after they came out

    I think the LCDs are better to go with than plasmas, but I guess it's all preference there.
    I just don't like the glare that you can get on a plasma tv if the light is hitting it just right.

    I got a couple light switches at home depot. This weekend I put down a floor in my attic (used all scrap wood I had from tearing apart my old basement), then added a vent fan and an attic light, and light switches for the fan and light. The fan has a t-stat and will hopefully keep the attic/house cooler in the summer. I routed a 12-2 wire up there back in the spring when I rewired my basement.
    I try to avoid the stores this time of the year.

    I got absolutely nothing, I had to be at work at 4 am. I work as a waitress in a restaurant in a mall. Busiest day of the year for us. Busy from 4am-4pm. What sucks even more is that I didnt get to sleep until 1230 last night just to wake up at 230. Why Im not asleep right now I dont know. But for some odd reason Im not tired, overtired I guess.

    Im a little jealous that everybody got to go shopping and I had to wait on all the grumpy people who waited in line to not get what they wanted.

    I LOVE yankee candles! what scents did you get? And, if my hubby EVER bought a candle, I'd probably fall out! I want to open a candle/bath/body/fabrics shop in our town. Anything scentuous. I've already got the name registered with a .com. Scentuous On Broad Street....isn't that the coolest name? kind of a play on words Scentuous("since you was") On Broad Street you might as well stop and buy a candle!~ LOL
