Black Eggcrate

Does anyone know of a place I could get 1 piece of black eggcrate to use for frags. I dont want to buy a case of 15. I was just thinking would a piece of clear acrylic work if I drilled out some round holes in it or would the metal halide heat damage it?

idk about black, but i know home depot sells white eggcrate (the kind for drop down ceilings) for about 13 bucks a piece

 

I know they sell white but they dont sell black. Online sells black if you buy a case thats why I thought maybe a piece of acrylic would work?

 

could work, but you do run the risk of cracking/breaking the acrylic while drilling it. im assuming you would want a good amount of holes in it for circulation? im not 100% on the acrylic and heat from the Mh's. whats wrong with the white stuff? eventually it will be covered in coralline just as the black would, eh?

 

I just dont want to have to wait till its covered the white will stick out
