I don't want to chance it, but it is tempting, especially as my research has shown they are less likely to eat soft corals. Maybe one day, but for now i'm going to stay away.

If you do, I would recommend trying to get one at a local LFS that would give you credit if you had to take it back. That way it wouldnt be too much of a pain if the fish did decide to go after the corals.

heres my 2 pennies/EXPERIANCE (OHH YEA!!!!)

i had a copperband for maybe a year or 2 and got him when he was a TEENY TINY lil thing, and he never bothered anything. My thoughts on this where that i raised him in captivity to eat what i gave him, and not what i didnt. my friend on the other hand got a huge one from the wild as well, and tore the heck out of his sps's ;D. i was happy to get mine as small as it was, seemed to know that he was going to be taken care of and didnt want to bother anything.

Not a bad thought nanoreefer. It does make sense. I have 3 LFS, two of which are very trustworthy and one of which cares nothing for the animals. From asking around those three, online input, and your input, I should be able to piece together a good idea of what will happen if I add one.
