    update.......
tested my water yesterday and the nitrates climbed back up a little to 20 and I had a bacterial bloom. However I contribute that partially at least to 1. forgot to turn my skimmer back on 2. not dosing the microbacter like directions. My kH is staying around 9 and my mg is low at 1200. Everything else was right on target.

The bacterial bloom is not that major and now the skimmer is back on hopefully it will clean it out.

As far as coral growth, I have very few corals in the system right now. I do have one zoa and I have not noticed any growth on it yet. The only other corals I have right now is a litho (which has colored up nicely) and a ball sponge which is doing really nice and just added a large spider sponge (which i am wondering if I should move it to another system because the parazoanthus has not polyped out since placing it in my system. Will keep an eye on him and move as necessary....maybe not polyping because of the pellets????

I am expecting my large shipment of corals to come this week from Wet Thumb frags, however they will not be placed in my DT for a long time. (had a monti that was infested with MEN...that I bought somewhere else) so it is going to be hard to judge coral growth right now. However after QT I will be placing a lot of acros into that tank

well, am no longer going to be running the biopellets anymore due to the heater malfunction causing temp surge to 98.3 overnight killing everything.....thought it best to turn it off and not add anymore stressors to what might still be alive

ouch man! I hate to hear that. Mine have kicked in full swing now and even with all of the hair algae dying in my tank I still have. 04 ppm phosphates and undetectable nitrates. Be careful not to get too far above 8dkh when running ulns.
