I'm pretty sure it's acrylic & that's how the 2 front corners are curved.

lol. drilling a biocube? You might as well have just started with an empty 29g glass box.

well the tanks an octopus tank :) so the lid helps with that escaping thing they tend to do lol.... space is also thight and this tank is the biggest we could fit in that spot so thats why wee got it .... were putting a 20 gallon extra tall tank in the stand...

i know the front and botom are acrylic wasnt sure bout the back

Hmm, an optopus tank...that's pretty sweet. :p

I would think the entire thing is made of welded acrylic. The plastic on the back exterior is just a covering...unless it's siliconed to the acrylic panel.

..always. They are the ones that made it. They are the only ones who know for sure.

what type of bicube? mine is a jbj 24g and the front is definately glass. The back feels like a hard plastic ( i just knocked on it) I was afraid to drill the back so I drilled the top and had two pumps. One in tank, one in sump. Man that was a pain I had to constantly adjust and finally I said screw it. So then I was sumpless for two tanks. Now I just started a 56g and I'm doing an above tank sump/refugium. Plumbing it today and I cant wait

The Oceanic BioCubes are NOT acrylic, they're glass. The back panel might be plastic; I would try scraping it, and see if there's just a sheet of plastic film over glass (like the RSM AIOs are) or if it's legit plastic.
