    oh yeah. they're no lumenarc reflector or anything, but they are not horrible.
    I have my 70w one about 6" off of the water and it has plenty of spread for my 20H.

    hm i might just end up getting the 150W one with my next paycheck. Especially since its only like $40 dollars more and i will upgrade tank size eventually...

    my concern is, do I also need to buy a chiller if I buy MH lighting? I hear they get real hot, if thats the case I ll just stick with my stock lighting lol, can't afford a chiller

    depends on a number of other factors Mkizla

    the ambient temp in the room
    the distance from the water surface the lights are
    the air flow between the lights and the water surface ( fans)

    you may be able to maintain the temperature of the tank using clip on computer sized fans , these coupled with regular top off to replace evaporated water, do work for many reefers who dont want a chiller

    what did you want to keep in there ? as T5s might be an option you could consider

    hey steve, well I want to keep like clams and maybe some hard corals, but mainly I just want the cool effect lol, and Im scared of open lid because fish might jump out, even though they wont. 1 coral beauty and 2 clown

    yea i was looking into fishneedit too but am might upgrade to a 55g and I dont know how many 150 MH I need cuz i ant buying 2

    so yeah, not sure if I want to get the MH, I do but 80% I want it because of the effect it creates lol, is there any other way to make cool effect in biocube withought upgrading to MH?

    LED's will generally give you that same shimmering effect on the water.

    I am looking at buying a used 150w mh for now for my 75 until I can afford the 250w one on feshneedit. What corals/clams to you what to keep?

    So do you guys think this is a cheap price? for a brand new 150watt MH lighting?
    I think this is a local store in my area that has the ad up on craiglist.
