    Just question about what MH to buy for Biocube 29? Not that im gonna buy it anytime soon but just curious.

    Metal Halide Lights (summer sale)
    how about that 150watt one?

    same as the fishneedit.com pendants, I went with the 70w for the 14g biocube i had so yeah 150w would work for the 29g :)

    Good prices. Those are used, I know. How much are they new? I am interested in the 250w.

    Yeah I think the 150 would be good for a 29g.

    I was extremely happy with the quality of my 70w. the bulbs should be replaced in the first couple months or so. I used their hanging kit and it's worked pretty good for me. the ballast seems pretty well built and i haven't had any problems with it yet. I'm sure you can find more reviews on these lights with a quick search.

    man that fishneedit place has some pretty cheap metal halides. Looks like kinda weird pendants, any difference between the open style pendants/reflectors and these closed ones? looks like a lot less area for light to pass through...

    i think hes referring to the spread of the light and the area it covers considering there isnt a huge reflector
