I have biocube 29 with full size coral beauty, and maybe a inch sized clown fish. I just want to add some cheap small school of chromis into the tank. I dont have too much corals in there, maybe around 6 kinds. For a 29gallon biocube, how many chromis do you think I can fit in there, maximum? Like I want to try 4 minimum

Id recommend five, since odd is better in a school of chromis

I think 7 fish in a 29gal tank is too much, imo. I would say adding 2 or 3 would be putting the tank at maximum capacity, imo. Thats just my opinion. I think overstocking can lead to problems down the road unless you have overkill filtration.

Does that mean you don't have a skimmer?

Doesn't matter how many u get. U will be left with one chromis in the end. I've tried multiple times to keep a school and it always ends up with one dominant chromis. That's just my experience. But getting 7 fish in a 29g is too much imo

A pair of fire fish? They're pretty, and do well if they're bought as a pair or school in the same tank.

Im bad with fire fish for some reason, they always jump all over the place including the behind the filter area all the time. out of 3 fire fish I had all 3 has been in the back area and has been pain in the butt to get them out. Eventually weirdly fire fish will be the only fish that dies on me.

So Im not sure if fire fish will be wise to go for it again :s
