biocube 14 rimless build

    I decided to do a nano in my bedroom. Started with a used biocube 14 and cut the top off and polished the glass edge to make it rimless. I then did some cutting to fit a decent skimmer and started building a small hood to keep it tidy.
    here is a few pics of the progress.

    Cut the hood off

    Painted it white to match the stand.

    Painted the background black as it was faded.

    Made the skimmer fit then built a hood to hide everything.

    I did the same thing to my 12 gallon nanocude, I really liked the way it turned out.

    That ai prime looks sick keep us updated on how you like it

    Just working on an aquascape plan now. Going for a minimilst style using rods and epoxy to build the structure. Looking to build a small diameter base with a larger shelf like top with two or more different height shelves. Now just have to find the perfect peices. Also made a few frags for when its ready.
