A cleaner shrimp definitely brings a reef together. Looks empty without em. Hopefully I'll get another soon. They are just so expensive around here unless you buy baby ones.

Here too. $20+ which to me is crazy. I still had to have one though!

20 bucks for a baby is a decent price. The size I want is about $45 here. I think I just look at it as a regular shrimp and can't really warrant spending the money, but they are well worth it. Priceless.

Mine doesn't clean any of my fish. We'll see if he warms up to anyone. He is definitely out and on the rocks/front of tank WAY more than my peppermint though. He is pretty friendly.

My peppermint always hide too. What kind of fish are in the tank with the cleaner? Other than tangs, I didn't think they really cleaned anything else. I would assume they will pick at anything willing to sit still; gobies, blennys, hawks, ect. I was very surprised to see him scrubbing down my lawnmower. Man, all this cleaner talk makes me want to splurge and get another. ;D

I have a true perc, lawnmower, mandarin and a firefish. Those are his only fish buddies.

Nice....I have all of those same fish too with the addition of another b&w perc, 3 reef chromis and a hippo tang. and guess what....I got another CLEANER shrimp! $27 bucks at a local chain pet store, which is a really good price for the size of this one. My lawnmower blenny has already been bugging the shrimp to get cleaned. The shrimp hasn't seemed to realize the relationship yet but we'll see happens. I'll be posting some pics soon enough.

Nice!! That is too cool. Yesterday I was watching the tank. Cleaner tried to clean the clown, no lukc. Cleaner tried to clean the mandarin, no luck again.....didn't bother with the firefish. The lawnmower came up to the cleaner himself!! Cleaner picked around his gills and tail for a sec and then the lawnmower flitted off. LMAO!! It was so funny. I think they may be getting more used to eachother! I'm really excited. They were almost nestled up together this morning when the lights came on :D

I need to take more pics :D

I'll post them up when Ido take them
