I'm trying to find an in tank breeder box that I could use to store chaeto, promote pod growth, and also use it as a space to hold any misbehaving fish.

The only ones I've seen hold less than half a gallon of water. Anyone know where I can get a larger version of one? A google search didn't turn much up for me.

Those are typically small devices given their use. Perhaps look into Critter Carriers or in tank fuges like CPR makes.

I'd say give it a shot making one yourself! Might have to have something to help weigh it down so it doesn't float. But I'd think its very possible with some acrylic and weld-on

Heck you could put magnets on the bottom of the build and use that to keep it attached to the side and weighted down.

Stupid new tapatalk. Can't figure out how to quote!!!

The acclimation box looks like the right idea. Just hate to spend so much for a piece of plastic. For now I've rigged up the largest breeder I could find (about double the size of a 3way) and glued suction cups to it. It wouldn't be big enough to isolate my largest fish but plenty big to isolate my oce clown that has always harassed others from time to time.[IMG]
