bigger tank?

    so i want to get a bigger tank. i want to leave my 55 up and running till i get my new one going if i can get the wife to ok it. i was thinking like 150 maybe but that is not my question i want to put it in the wall and was wondering how far is to far to put a sump, ref, and all that jazz that i will need to plumb. i want to put it in my garage and it will be like 20' is that to far what are your guys and gals toughts. thank you in advance

    I don't see any distance being a problem, assuming you have a huge pump that can pump the water that far back to the tank again.

    yeah i am going to have to draw up some plans and do some figuring if the wife lets me do it it will be a long project

    The horizontal plumbing runs do not add much resistance to the system. Just make sure to use large diameter PVC, like 1-1/2" or better.

    I agree with the others.just make sure u have a big enough pump and take ur time deciding how to set it up
