    Hi All,

    My tank parameters had been normal for the past 2 weeks but I had a lot of hair algae in my tank. (my CUC was 2 nass snails and 2 hermits). So I added 2 Turbos to take care of the HA but, I also added a Blue Yellow Tail Damsel. The next morning I checked and my parameters are as follows:

    Nitrate = 0
    Nitrite = 0.25
    Ammo = 0 - 0.25
    PH = 7.8 (was a rock solid 8.4 for weeks)

    What would cause such a drastic change in my PH? What can I do to correct it?

    Tank is a 24g Nano Cube running almost 4 weeks.

    Thanks

    Do you have anything covering the top of the tank? Do you have a lot of surface agitation?
