    Here are the photos of the aquarium after the fishing line was removed from the wood, and the plants trimmed up neatly.

    It is important to always trim the Java moss nice and short, as it promotes the horizontal expansion of the moss. It is also what gives you that nice plush and bushy fern look as the plant gains new growth tips.

    There are multiple close up shots so you can get a good look. The side profile shot is to accurately show how short it was trimmed.

    It is certainly small enough to sit comfortably on a desk. That's where our current one is sitting!

    It's really neat to see what one nicely shaped piece of driftwood can do! It can be a little difficult to aquascape something so small, but it is very rewarding when you can pull off something great!

    Due to the refurnishing of our office, we had to disassemble the Dymax.

    Don't worry, we will set it up again once things have settled down!

    i'm curious would the stock leds grow softies? I dont see any info on kelvin or par etc.
