Bi color blenny with changing spots

    Cyano is actually a bacteria, not an algae. They would eat film algae etc., but not cyano that I know of. He may not have been getting the nutrition he needed.

    As to him being missing, they can fit in some very small holes. There is a chance he is hiding out. Keep an eye on your params, if you see a spike it would suggest he may be gone :(

    I wouldn't be worried about the color changing at all. It's just what they do.

    I used to have a Starry Blenny and that guy would eat cyano like there was no tomorrow. Fish have a weird way of knowing what is good for them and what isn't. I find it hard to believe that a fish would spend the energy eating something that isn't sustaining them. Just wanted to add a different perspective.

    my diamond goby is tearing the cyno up like no tomorrow.I have been watching the params but i have an abundance of crabs and haven't seen very many the last few days.Im sure there is a hermit party going on in my rock somewhere
