Otherwise he is healthy. He eats good and is rarely ever on the sand like this. And after the video was shot he ate and went to one of his normal spots to perch. But if you notice he has spots that go away and then start to come back. What does this mean.

Sorry for the video. I forgot to turn the phone sideways

I would guess it's a stress thing, or maybe a showmanship thing - to warn others not to mess with him.

I have no idea though! I'm sure someone else will. He's cute! :)

+1, mine has the same thing when he sleeps, don't see it much during the day but I may just not be looking at the right time. Mine is also the boss of the tank, he bullies everyone else, including me if I'm working in the tank lol. Great personalities.

yeah thats why i got the little guy because they have more personality then any other fish ive seen yet.It was strange he only did it when he would perch down by that clam.Wont do it any other time.I watched him all night after this vid was shot and he would continuously do it

AFAIK, they do this when resting. Mine would do it every night. I don't think it's necessarily linked to him being MIA now.

ok, i missed that. these fish eat junk growing in the tank. that's why I like them. I feed pretty sparingly but have never had a blenny starve. They jump and I had one get eaten by an anemone once, but flakes and mysis seems to have been fine for me.

+1, I just checked your other thread and I didn't seem any algae sheets. Do you feed them? If not do you have a lot of algae in the tank? These fish need it to survive, that could be part of his disappearance.
