    Hello all!

So, I've been debating between these two skimmers for about a week now and I'm just not sure which would be the better choice for me. I've heard great things about both,a s well as some not so great things about both. My setup will be a 20H with a 10 gallon sump. On the one hand, the hydor will probably be better for in-sump use. On the other I've seen more people use the Reef Octopus than the Hydor. I'm really at a loss at the moment as to which one I should go with. Any suggestions?

I actually had just finished reading your review before posting this. Hehe. I think I'll give it a few more days, then I'll probably pull the trigger and go for the Slim Skim Nano.

edit: jsut noticed I called it the Hydro >_< serves me right for not proofreading my posts!

Haha, I hadn't even noticed you called it that.

Hopefully someone with some Reef Octo skimming experience can step in and give you their thoughts. :D

Would be cool to hear their opinions, but, for now, I think I'm going to go with the nano, as the normal slim skim seems to need to high a water height than my sump can proved. heck, 11" is pushing it.
