Ok he seems to be turning a corner! He's out and about a bit! The chromis still being a little devil, but the wrasse seems to be able to hold his own! Hes got a few hiding spots! Trying to spot feed him but nothin yet, although I see him pecking at the rockwork! His colors are cool! And he's bigger than the chromis so let's hope he grows a pair soon!

ok, he's starting to stand his ground! Let's hope he's not too worn out and is getting enough food off my rocks! Should be ok, they are loaded with pods.

    Yes, wrasses are very addictive.

I'll have to get another one or 22 soon.

    I've told y'all; don't get the wrasse bug. ;)

Day 1 is always tense. Day 2 is sometimes the same, but usually better. It'll take a week before everyone is mostly adjusted to another.

He looks just fine. Don't panic about him not eating yet. As soon as the stress level comes down, you won't be able to feed him fast enough.

Thanks man, hoping he comes through, he changes colors from red to blue to green instantly, hope he makes it! Cool fish! Already considering taking the chromis out to fit 2 more in. lol.

    How's your girl doing?

Meh, same. LA extended the warrenty for an additional week, FWIW.

Let the male out last night, and there were a few tense moments, but nothing that particularly worried me. Everyone's mostly settled back in today.

Hope she makes it for ya, can't be an easy fish to get ahold of. Gotta love LA and DD though, not only do they offer that, the fact they extend the guarantee is great customer service! Of course, we'd rather have live fish, but better than that thing dying on you from a LFS in 2 days and be out that $$$.

Not an easy one to get ahold of at all. However, in addition to the other pair DD currently has listed, they have 8 more females. ;)

When I got my Scott's male fairy wrasse, it was so shy and wouldn't eat for well over a week. I swore it would be a la 14 day guarantee fish, but it came out, and eventually ate.
