I am in the process of building a much larger tank but i want to put it in the spot where my tank is now. What would be the smartest thing to do basiclly sell everything off and start over (i have mostly softies now, would like to go more sps) or build then move then try to swap the 2 around? I wont need be able to use any of my old equip since i will be going much much larger well except my tank and that will be come a sump ;D.

Im thinking sell everything except my tank then build any other opinions?

Your rock will be beneficial. A little bit of your live sand to help seed the new stuff. As you said most equipment will have to be new. Or if you could get a decent price on selling it Asa package on craigslist. Whichever will save you more money

You will probably get the best deal(you and the buyer) if you sell it on CL as mentioned - everything together.

People are willing to pay a bit more if it is sold as a "set."
