i have some fish in my tank that i rescued from being flushed and finally found a home for them. what is the best way to get them out of the tank without pulling out all my aquascape. i made a 2 liter bottle fish trap and they seem uninterested at all so any help would be apreciated

patience is key if you dont want to pull out your aquascape, you can also try turning off your lights and try catching them in the dark this often works for me.

+1 for the dark or put food in your net and see if your fish goes to investigate. I try to scare them into the corner and use my biggest net to catch them.

I've always been lucky with the inverted bottle trick. I used a larger mouthed bottle like a Juicy Juice one. The key can be to let it sit in the tank for a bit so the fish don't look at it like it's a threat. I would normally put the bottle in and baster some mysis/brine in & maybe some raw shrimp. Eventually as they all got comfortable each one would venture in. It was just a matter of waiting maybe 30 mins until I got the fish I wanted trapped.
