I initially used RC, but my Ca and Mg were always low, so I switched to Coralife, much higher levels of both. Although I haven't tried the new and "improved" RC.

I've been using Seachem Reef Salt Mix for the past year. I'am seeing excellent results compared to using IO. Tried to save money, but in the end, it's not worth it.

I use table salt.. Takes me a bit of shaking to get the mizture just right but it works well. The salt shaker gives me great control over get the salinity just right..

I use red sea salt, as it blows the doors off of the RC I used to used, as far as levels of the stuff you want in your reef tank.

If I want more ca and mg, I will go with red sea coral Pro.

I'm currently using red sea coral pro also, costs slightly more here but worth it for the better parameters.
