Best reef putty?

I need to stabalize the placement for my hammer coral. What putty is safe and can be applied underwater.

+1 to this. If the two part epoxy is labeled for the hobby it is generally way overpriced.

I also use AquaMend which is also sold at any home improvement store.

Lately I've been using this 3 x Edge Chemical Coral Epoxy Slow Set 4oz 7" Sticks | eBay and like it alot. The sticks are 7" long and you get 3 tubes at a whack.

Interesting, I've heard bad things about that one so I'll stay away just to be safe.

 

Having used a lot of them, I'm partial to Aquastik.

 

O'reileys (an auto parts store) didn't have loctite so I got some quiksteel (made by bluemagic). Will this stuff be safe?

 

Does it state that its safe for potable water? If not dont use it.

 

Yeah it does. Is that all it takes? It also says it's an eye irritant.
