best canister filter

    I use a Fluval 405, plus 2 HOB's. On a 60 gal.. Just keep the Pre-Filters clean..

    I'm also hooking up a 25 gal. sump..
    But the Fluval 405, really does a good job, just keep it clean..

    I keep my 405 turned 1/2 way down, they do put out some water..

    i use 2 marineland canister filters c-160 and c-220 and a protien skimmer

    there is no such thing as a good cannister filter for sw. There just isn't. The only filtration I run is my skimmer and live rock. No floss or foam. with the amount of money you will spend on a cannister filter you can get a good skimmer.
