I was waving my food dispenser around. Fish are suckers sometimes.

As a totally impartial third party, I think there is a problem here. A "challenge" implies equal footing of both parties, an even playing field, as it were.
To have one pulsing in dead calm water, and one sashaying around in a strong current is NOT equal footing.
The original statement mentioned how fast the xenia was pulsing in dead calm water, and that -I believe- is what any challenger needs to re-create: A STRONGER pulsing xenia in dead calm conditions.

I think you should open this up to any and all contenders, but in calm water conditions.

I'd be glad to act as judge; I own lazy xenia, and can therefor appreciate more athletic ones ;D

As long as your water conditions are within reef tank parameters, you'll be fine. Unlike my ex-wife, xenia are very forgiving and tolerant. ;D

That is the way to keep it too, segregated so that it won't spread to every thing. Very nice coral as it moves but can become a pest fast.
