We just bought a "Heniochus Acuminatus" (5 days ago) common name Banner Fish? We have a 125 gallon salt water up & runnning about 3 & 1/2 years now. He is "nipping & rubbing" up against the larger fish, is this normal or is he aggressive? We were told they were passive & gets along with others well. He is really bothering the Foxface, is it because they're similar in color? And should we get him a mate, I read they are schooling fish, the others seem to be hiding from him, especially the 2 firefish. We also have wrasse, bi-color angel, coral beauty, & 2 chromis. Is he just adjusting? Thank You for any information.

it is not common for a newly introduced fish to pick on the others, usually newly introduced specimens are the ones being picked on. try turning the lights off for a couple days or rearranging rockwork

Should I get another one, or just leave it for awhile? My husband wants to try to catch him because all the fish were getting along fine, the Foxface is 4 time his size and he just keeps going at him. The lady at the LFS said he would be gentle in the tank, are they're other kinds?
