So, I'm going to be shipping some stuff tomorrow. I'm a horrible bagger, and I have rubber bands that are far too big for the tiny frag bags I'm using. Where do you guys get small (tiny) rubber bands, like the ones used at an LFS? Any brick-and-mortar that has them (so I can still ship tomorrow)?

I have to wrap the bands I have at least 10x more times around the top of the bags than my LFS does, and most other LFS I've been to have had rubber bands that are literally 1/5th as long (around) and definitely not even close to as wide as the ones I have. I can hardly close the bags at all with these things.

hmm.... how about a staples or an art and craft type of store?

I know what you mean about the bigger rubber bands, that's why I save the ones I get from the fish store or online.

Also, you could stop by your LFS and ask them for some of them if you have a good relation with them. Even if you don't, chances are the employees won't care about a handfull of them going your way.

You could probably try a stationery store. Ive seen those at some of our local stationery stores before.

I always cut the ones from the fish store and online haha. I don't want to deal with trying to untangle those. I would just stop by the LFS, but it's 45 mins away.

I'm gonna try Staples and see if they have it. Hopefully they do, I don't wanna be running around too long looking for rubber bands haha.

Good luck, blackraven1425! I'm positive they have them at office supply stores and they're relatively cheap, which is always a plus.

Oh yeah, that's why I'm not all that upset about the bands I got. I had a online store ship them (with quite a few other things), but apparently they didn't get the well-circulated memo about rubber band size.

I'll try the dollar store if I don't see them at Staples, thanks for the suggestion XMetal.

I couldn't find the bands at any of those places. I got a couple at the local PetSmart for today, but need to find somewhere to buy a bag myself.
