Bad luck with new tank...need more help!

    The pump is designed to be run internally or externally but the water still needs to be gravity feed to the pump i.e. you would have to drill a hole in the end of your sump at the bottom. It cannot draw water, only pump it.

    This. More trouble that it's worth IMO. The screws will not cause any trouble/damage to your tank.

    Not to get this off track, did you get the micro bubbles sorted out?

    They are a little better but I still have the bubbles....

    Got reactor going but somehow some of the pellets keep getting underneath the screens and getting shot into my sump!

    I have bad luck!!

    I have had no luck at all with my reactor either.
