Its been running for about 6 weeks and the last couple days its just been getting cloudyer and cloudyer!

Algea is starting to grow on rocks amd glass if that means anything.

Should i get a hob filter and run a carbon pad for a couple days?

What types of filtration and flow are in there now?

    Have you tested any parameters?

The tank is young, are those hermits or snails in there I see? Have you been feeding them food?

You are aware of differnet types of algae blooms that can happen on newer tanks? Cyano outbreaks?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I agree with Vinny (dang it).

Looks bacterial, increase surface agitation, run some carbon. Do not feed the tank at all.

    Does the tank smell?

Its 1.5 months old. I havent tested anything but just cycle stuff. Its taken a long time to cycle. I just have liverock and a circ pump in there for now. Its 15 gallons and has a clean up crew from reefcleaners and some hermits.

No livestock? Do a ten gallon water change. The cuc should be able to handle any swing in parameters.

Are you mixing your own salt water? Ro/di? Lighting schedule? What basic cycle test have you ran? What are they?
