back from holiday, surprise in aquarium

    So i left for three days for holidayand when i got home to check on my aquarium the water was low (expected, no auto top off)

    But my problem is my water. It is super cloudy and i found a growth on some portions on my tank, it looks very much like dust oddly enough.

    Is this some type of algae? Or something that got in my tank.

    Possible bacteria bloom or fungus. Big ole WC is in order for sure.

    Looks like a fugus to me too. Who did you leave to feed your tank? It's possible they were way over feeding which caused the cloudiness and fungus. I agree that a big water change should be done!
