haha thats awesome I wish I could have done that.. the chameleons are sensitive.. you have to be careful with them but you can handle them just carefully haha. The geckos are pretty sweet I like the little dwarf ones but they are so expensive... but very pretty! just research and see whats best for ya.

yeah so i have gathered my information and here it is for pygmies vs the more recommended chameleon, the veiled chameleon: both need same tank requirements of a 20 gallon tall tank. a vivarium would be better in both cases, but for the pygmy smaller thinner plants would be suitable for the smaller gripping appendages. pygmies are the hardest common known chameleon to get to eat. since they are smaller they tend to jump when scared. they are also the smallest chameleon, although thats obvious ;). both need to be misted atleast twice a day and it is discussed, that like some geckos, they cant see still water, but it is recommended that you have a water dish big enough for them to climb in. pygmies are not recommended for handling more then once a month, although that is the same with most chameleons. pygmies are the dullest of the chameleons most being a gray green or gray brown. veiled are a bright green, but panthers come in all colors. it is important to watch the chameleonn when it eats because the crickets WILL bite them if they get the chance. (that happened to my gecko :( ) you can keep a mated pair or 3 in a 20 tank as long as theres only 1 male.

sorry its so long hope it helps though :) a great website is

but some things they say might not be "correct"

600$ i'd rather spend on saltwater tanks ;D they are beautiful, can be handled alot and everything else under the sun. but the cheapest one is 200$ so no thanks :) handle more? a larger species of gecko would be good like a tokay gecko (IMO) the prettiest gecko out there. you need pics :) place them on the bucket or something lol

"i need to post them" sounds like a great idea :p tokay geckos are rather cheap compared to a panther chameleon. OMG this morning i was so scared. i woke up and my clown was like pale grey, almost white. but then he changed to his normal jet black in about 20 seconds. i was so confused. but then i remembered a post that alot of fish lose color when they sleep. what a wonderful way to start a morning (not) ;D

not that they're bad, there just a "nusiance" but i think mine are cool and to me its a good sign lol. ahh i hate losing a fish. my first (and only so far *knock on wood*) was such a downer. so you got your baby clown (meeko) nice name, and a small clown goby ina 29 gallon tank.that leave about 4-5 inches of fish, any of the following would be cool IMO; Swales Swissguard Basslet, any cardinalfish, black clownfish, MULTIBAR ANGELFISH..in bold because its really pretty :) and maybe a mandarin if yur up for it :) (dont correct my grammar :) )
