    O ok...strange part is we didn't get much rain and no winds really over 40mph...yet there's like 200k people without power yesterday. I don't get it lol.

    Same here really. I happened to be looking out the window and there was a big gust for about 30 seconds. My entire yard was raked a few days ago, and within that 30 seconds, completely covered with branches and leaves. A few seconds after that gust, the power went out. Apparently some trees fell and took out powerlines in 3 places, right down the street. I am near a 4 way intersection and can see down 4 streets if I walk a bit. Of the 4, mine was the only one without power, heck even 2 houses down, on another street they had lights on :angry:

    Yeah, our power was fine through the entire Hurricane, but then 10 hours later it went off for 7 hours. Couldn't have been caused by the storm (not 10 hours after the fact)... probably some joe shmoe in the sewer who cut the wrong wire trying to fix someone elses power outage.

    Very annying. I just left my tanks without power... I went to bed and everything seems fine today.

    If it was longer I would have agitated the water by hand. I don't have any temp probs where I live right now, in the winter it may have been different.

    That stinks...out power just came back on like half hour ago. I've been running around plugging things in and getting things back to normal. One good thing that happened from this is I think we broke our son from needing a TV to go to sleep with lol.

    Got home from dinner, power was back on...

    malac0da13 that's awesome, both the power and your son. Of course as I'm writing this, I'm sitting watching tv myself :lol:

    Crap...powers back out...hopefully it will come back on while I'm sleeping...I sleep with TV on too. I had a heck of a time falling asleep last night same thing tonite prolly.

    My power went out again earlier today. Seems like a transformer blew. Very upset, my tank looks AWFUL. I really don't know what to do. And I dont know how long it wil be out for. I will do the spatula thing and pour water in the tank! But things are really looking bad. All I have is a battery pump. Need advice ASAP
