my clown has his gills inflamed. I was wondering that he might have gill flukes, Dactylogyrus?? but im not sure.
what are some treatments i can do? ( ive heard formalin baths, but i dont have any, at least until thursday). is this a deadly disease?

    any suggestions?

Are the gills just inflamed, or are they red too?

I can't see anything with the pics. Sorry.
How is its breathing and appetite? As said, params would also help.

the only abnormal thing on him is his mouth.. its always open. and gills a little inflamed.
i tested the params yesterday and today.ammonia was a little high, but its controlled now.

I'm new to the hobby, but my first guess would be ammonia poisoning (a symptom is inflamed gills) or some type of parasite. Has he been hanging out at the top of the tank, at the bottom, or acting normal?
