Artificial Rock

    need advice. I just put artificial piece of rock that was designed for salt water aquariums it looks beutiful . I purchased the rock at a place called that fish place in lancaster p.a.They assured me i would have no problems.Does anyone have experience with this kind of rock . They claim it was designed by marine biologists.

    Not 100% sure Petey, but generally these artificial rocks are made of an inert material that does not pose any risk to the tank or its live stock

    get a picture up of it if you can so we can see what type it is

    I just added a few pieces from my LFS in NJ. It sounds like the same description I received from my retailer. Plus the color was nice, it doesn't stand out as much as new live rock does mixed with old
