    There's a behind the scenes tour? How was I unaware of this? What does it cost? I have a feeling I know what the husband and I will be doing on our next Chicago trip! I've already been asking to go to the Shedd again anyway.

    Yeah, it's when they disect a dead animal to determine it's cause of death.

    If you purchase your admission and behind the scenes tour together, it's $46. This gets you into the aquatic show, Jellies, and a 4-D video as well plus express entry (essentially you can jump any lines). IMO it's definitely worth the extra $16 (I think that's the difference).

    I used a Sony A350 DSLR with a 50mm f/1.8 and an 18-70mm lens. Thanks for all the great comments!
