Here is a quick pic I took this morning with they're lighting. It looks a little washed out, but I just snapped and ran so you get an ideal.[IMG][/IMG]

i think it depends upon the hobbiest(some people are ok with equipment thats a little subpar, for along time i was like that, but if you want a amazing high quality set up they definitely arent the product for you.

I really don't think its got anything to do with thier stuff being Sub-Par because I don't consider it that way. For me its a matter of money. I just cant afford to spend 400 to 700 dollars that they want for those other lights. I buy them and replace the bulbs after a little while and have never had an issue with performance.

I have the 36" 4x65 t5's and they are doing just fine.
actually, if anything, they are a lil brighter than I figured... and everything in my tank is rather happy.

I've had Odyssea MHs for years. My first fixture was a 36" MH/PC combo over my 46gal and then my 72 gal with nary a worry and it suited both tanks. Now I have a 60" MH/PC fixture over my 125 and have seen my corals grow, my clam live happily, and my anemone split. I say they are A-OK!

I've heard all positive things about these lights, but if you're looking for something low in price other than these...why don't you look into a MH retrofit? They're easy to assemble and allow more room for customizing your setup.

Ok, My buddies par meter grew legs and walked away so I dont have those results available but can give the following review.

They showed up mostly in 1 piece, the bulbs were already mounted which is kind of cool but 1 bulb got the end ripped off in shipping even though they packed it with bubble wrap between the bulbs and reflector but no biggy, considering I got both of these 2 fixtures with bulbs for less than the cost on just the bulbs on my fixture for my main tank.

The reflectors are kind of crappy but you get what you pay for, it's a single reflector with a bend between the 2nd and 3rd bulbs to give it some parabolic effect but not much.

We used these 2 4x39w fixtures to replace a single 4x96w PC fixture on a 150g 6' tank, I must say within an hour of changing the fixtures the softies in the tank had better polyp extension than they've ever had, the anemones immediatly perked back up (there is about 15 rose bta's in this tank) so I must say, very well worth what they cost if you need a budget T5 fixture these are definetly worth it. The only thing is they now have a "deluxe" version that has seperate power cords for the daylight, acintic, moonlights so they can all be put on seperate timers for about $15 more well worth it.
